- I created McKinley Turlington Applebee in 1998. Twenty years later, she has come to life!
- I married my college sweetheart at 22. We divorced two years later for five years and remarried in 2010.
- I tried out for a sorority in college. With my spunky personality, I just knew I’d make it. I was rejected.
- My oldest daughter is named after my grandmother and my husband’s grandmother. Yep, both our grandmothers shared the same name.
- I’ve had the pleasure of living in Louisiana, California, Texas, Virginia, North Carolina, and New Mexico. Where to next?
- I am morphing into a minimalist and getting rid of many things, but I’m KEEPING ALL THE BOOKS!
- After three failed attempts with starting a mom-blog, I realized writing books was more my speed.
- In 5th grade, I was the fastest runner, even faster than the boys. I begged my mom to let me run track, but she said no because she thought my skinny legs would break!
